This Reservoir bathroom was ready for a fresh start. The original layout felt cramped, with the vanity and shaving cabinet on separate walls, and the bathtub cutting into valuable space. Our clients wanted something modern, practical, and with a little personality.
This project proves that smart floorplan changes, combined with carefully considered finishes, can completely transform how a bathroom feels and functions. Built By Wood delivered a space that is modern, practical, and full of personality.
To create a more open and functional floorplan, we repositioned the bathtub beneath the window, instantly freeing up space and improving the natural light. This change allowed us to relocate the vanity to the opposite wall and install a mirrored shaving cabinet directly above it — a simple but impactful upgrade that makes everyday use far more practical.
The finishes set the tone: terrazzo floor and shower tiles add texture and movement, while soft blue wall tiles bring a calm, contemporary vibe. A warm timber vanity with a rounded-edge counter softens the lines, paired with a sculptural cream basin that adds a touch of luxury.
